As the real estate market soared over the last year and a half in the greater Boston area — despite the COVID-19 pandemic — the residential and commercial real estate practices at Continental Law Group grew considerably. With the expansion of our firm, we are pleased to welcome our newest attorney, Steven Burzinski, who will be joining CLG’s commercial real estate practice as of September 1.
Steven brings a broad scope of corporate legal knowledge and commercial real estate experience to CLG. Concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, finance, and corporate transactions, Steven has represented numerous business entities during the course of his career. He has earned a reputation as a skilled and trusted advisor for guiding businesses through the formation stages, and has counseled companies regarding the various legal issues that can arise at every phase of operation. He has also represented both buyers and sellers in many high-stakes mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Steven’s commercial real estate experience spans over the course of more than a decade. His proficiencies include representing both owners and developers in the acquisition, financing, development, operation, and leasing of various commercial properties across the United States. He has extensive experience representing institutional lenders in the structure and negotiation of various classes of single lender and syndicate financings — both secured and unsecured — including commercial mortgage-backed securities, off-balance sheet, subordinated debt, mezzanine, and bond-related financing transactions.
Steven also possesses a diverse academic background which he brings to his practice. In addition to receiving his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law, Steven is a graduate of The Citadel where he earned his Master of Business Administration. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University in South Carolina. Steven is admitted to both the Massachusetts and Texas state bars and is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association.
